Not quite there…but they ARE working on it.
I had really high hopes when I saw that there was going to be a major update to VIPOrbit. Unfortunately, they still have a ways to go.
The app does not sync back to the Apples Calendar or Contacts apps. In the case of the former, that makes this completely useless if you have shared calendars with people that do not use Vipor. If there was seamless 2-way sync, I’d easily give this another star.
Regading Contacts, when I scan a business card into Evernote via my iPhone, that then drops the contact into Contacts. Currently, it doesn’t automatically pull that into Vipor. But, it at least is smart enough to only bring in the changed contacts…not the entire database all over again.
The UI is certainly prettier, but has yet to fully leverage the abilities of iOS8.
They’ve been VERY responsive to suggestions. So, I know they’ll get “there."
